Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Tenant Sales Representative / Project Manager to develop new business, build customer relationships, estimate projects, and manage tenant improvement work. This is a great opportunity for a fire protection professional who knows the industry, understands the construction process, and thrives on turning opportunities into results.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through sales calls, leads, follow-ups, and marketing strategies.
  • Understand customer needs and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Close sales and exceed established sales goals.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers, General Contractors, and end users.
  • Estimate projects ranging from $100K to $1MM+, along with smaller service and repair projects.
  • Manage projects as needed, including change orders and field issues.
  • Attend job walks, construction meetings, and project meetings.
  • Develop new business relationships and help grow Chesapeake Fire Protection’s tenant fire sprinkler business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of fire sprinkler estimating/sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 14, NFPA 20, and applicable local codes.
  • Strong sales, estimating, project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office.
