General Neurologist

Location: Springfield, MO & Dallas, TX (On-Site)

POSITION TYPE:

  • 1099 Independent Contractor

  • Research-Focused Opportunity

  • On-Site

OVERVIEW

A growing clinical research organization is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologists interested in participating in and leading clinical research studies within Neurology and CNS therapeutic areas.

This is not a traditional hospital-employed Neurologist position. The role is focused on clinical research, study oversight, protocol execution, participant evaluations, sponsor interactions, and investigator development.

Physicians with little or no prior research experience are encouraged to apply, as training and onboarding support will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct protocol-required patient evaluations

  • Participate in clinical research studies

  • Perform study oversight and compliance activities

  • Review and document study-related findings

  • Participate in sponsor meetings and communications

  • Monitor participant safety and protocol adherence

  • Support clinical trial execution and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with research coordinators and study teams

INVESTIGATOR DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY

  • Physicians without prior research experience may begin as Sub-Investigators

  • Comprehensive training provided

  • Opportunity to advance into Principal Investigator (PI) responsibilities

  • Experienced investigators may be considered for PI roles immediately

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist

  • Eligible for Missouri or Texas medical licensure

  • Interest in clinical research and investigator development

  • Strong communication and patient evaluation skills

  • Prior research experience preferred but not required
