Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to bring your expertise to the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our community health clinic. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored individual and group therapy plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Facilitate engaging and informative therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, promoting mental health awareness and coping skills among our clients.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and primary care physicians, to ensure integrated patient care and effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention services, creating safety plans and making appropriate referrals to external agencies or higher care as necessary.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment progress with precision, adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and protect patient rights.
  • Participate in routine staff meetings, case consultations, and peer supervision to share insights and refine clinical approaches, ensuring continual improvement in service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse adult and adolescent populations, many of whom are facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. Understanding and addressing the social factors impacting their mental health is crucial to your role, as you will provide culturally competent support tailored to their unique situations. This position is designed for those committed to making a tangible difference in people's lives, particularly in a community health context.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is mandatory.
  • Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in Illinois is required, and candidates should have up-to-date continuing education credits as mandated by the licensing board.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient setting, is essential for this role.
  • Expertise in therapeutic approaches such as CBT and DBT, alongside a proven ability to implement these techniques effectively in sessions.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently, while also thriving in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and adaptive environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with a diverse team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with telehealth platforms, including familiarity with conducting sessions via video conferencing.
  • Knowledge of community resources and agencies to assist clients in accessing additional support services.
  • Experience in crisis management and familiarity with emergency intervention protocols.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
