Work Environment

This position is located in an outpatient office setting, allowing for direct interaction with patients in a supportive atmosphere. Our facility operates from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, providing ample opportunity for personal interaction with your patients throughout the week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify patient capabilities, needs, and goals, which will guide tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver individualized treatment sessions, focusing on improving patients’ strength, mobility, and overall function through specific therapeutic exercises.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and utilize a variety of treatment modalities suitable for orthopedic outpatient care.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress meticulously, adjusting care plans as necessary to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and wellness.
• Utilize modalities such as therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques to complement exercise interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, including communicating with physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle through community engagement and wellness programs, thereby extending our mission beyond clinic walls.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities to remain at the forefront of physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues, post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each patient will present unique challenges that will require an empathetic approach and personalized care strategies to ensure optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean professional record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrable expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, with proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR systems such as Web PT for precise documentation and patient tracking.
• A thorough understanding of current physical therapy practices and treatment modalities, backed by research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

Ideally, candidates will have prior experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a solid track record of developing and implementing effective rehabilitation programs. Familiarity with treating a range of conditions and a proactive approach to patient engagement will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
