Job description

Overview:
Spring up is responsible for adding all spring, coils, webbing, nails and strings required for each furniture piece. This position will be working with a mix of chair and sofa frames.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Understand correct placement of parts
  • Applies and fastens; coil springs, nails and strings
  • Must learn how to read a SPEC sheet
  • Utilize power tools to clip, tie and/or staple components
  • Lift, push and pull furniture frames as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Ideal candidate has previous experience in spring up
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
  • Results and deadline-oriented, ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Thrives in a changing and dynamic environment

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending and reaching
  • Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects
  • This is a production position not hourly
