Perform in-house spray application of polyurea, polyurethane, and coating systems in support of customer samples, sales work orders, and product evaluations. This role is responsible for executing spray operations, maintaining equipment, collecting application data, and supporting customer demonstrations and training activities.
Key Responsibility
Production Spray Operations

โ€ข Polyurea (thick/thin film)
โ€ข Primers and topcoats
โ€ข Follow all TDS and application procedures
Surface Prep & Setup
โ€ข Perform surface preparation per AMPP/industry standards
โ€ข Set up spray equipment and environment:
โ€ข Booth conditions
โ€ข Temperature / humidity considerations
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
โ€ข Operate and maintain:
โ€ข Graco proportioners (E-10, E-XP, H-XP, HFR)
โ€ข Spray guns (Fusion, P2, GX-8, etc.)
โ€ข Perform routine maintenance and cleaning
โ€ข Identify and report equipment issues

Education
Minimum Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: 2 year vocational certification
Experience

  • Hands-on experience with spray application of coatings (polyurea, polyurethane, or similar systems)
  • Ability to set up and operate plural component spray equipment and related tools
  • Ability to perform repeatable, high-quality spray applications based on defined process requirements
    Working knowledge of:
    โ€ข Surface preparation methods and their impact on coating performance
    โ€ข Coating systems including primers, base coats, and topcoats
    โ€ข Mechanical aptitude with ability to:
    โ€ข Perform basic equipment setup, cleaning, and troubleshooting

    โ€ข Follow work orders, technical data sheets (TDS), and application procedures
    โ€ข Control film build, spray technique, and application consistency
  • Experience documenting or collecting application data (DFT, environmental conditions, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, data entry, documentation)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Capable of lifting a minimum of 40 lbs on a routine basics
