The Role

We are seeking a Senior Solution Consultant – Maintenance & Reliability with deep, hands‑on experience in plant‑based industrial operations and a strong command of maintenance and reliability best practices. This role is ideal for a professional who understands how maintenance organizations operate in the real world and can translate that understanding into clear, outcome‑driven solution strategies.

In this role, you will partner closely with Sales and customer stakeholders to enable value‑based selling, helping industrial organizations quantify and realize improvements in uptime, labor productivity, maintenance cost, and operational risk. You will engage confidently with Plant Managers, Maintenance and Reliability leaders, and Operations executives, serving as a trusted advisor who can connect maintenance execution challenges to tangible business outcomes.

This position goes beyond traditional solution engineering. Success requires the ability to diagnose maintenance and reliability challenges, articulate what best‑in‑class performance looks like, and design solutions that align technology with proven operational practices. You will play a key role in shaping how customers understand and adopt modern, digitally enabled maintenance execution.

If this opportunity excites you, we encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all of the qualifications.

How You Will Make an Impact Lead Value‑Based Sales Engagements
  • Partner with Sales to support complex enterprise sales cycles across industrial markets (chemicals, oil & gas, mining, power, discrete manufacturing).
  • Translate maintenance and reliability challenges into quantified business impact, including downtime reduction, labor efficiency, backlog reduction, and asset availability.
  • Contribute to ROI models, business cases, and value narratives aligned to customer priorities.
Serve as a Maintenance & Reliability Subject Matter Expert
  • Bring practical expertise across preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance strategies.
  • Discuss maintenance execution topics such as work order lifecycle efficiency, planning and scheduling effectiveness, backlog management, and repeat work.
  • Provide informed guidance on maintenance KPIs and performance improvement opportunities.
Design Outcome‑Oriented Solutions
  • Assess current‑state maintenance processes and define future‑state workflows aligned with best practices.
  • Align solution design to operational objectives rather than product features.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions are scalable and realistic for plant environments.
Lead High‑Impact Demonstrations and Workshops
  • Conduct discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and tailored demonstrations for technical and executive audiences.
  • Address technical and operational questions with credibility and clarity.
Collaborate Across the Go‑To‑Market Team
  • Act as a strategic partner to Account Executives throughout the sales cycle.
  • Support opportunity qualification, deal strategy, and customer engagement planning.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Services teams based on customer needs and field insights.

Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team

Required:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, plant operations, or industrial solution engineering with deep domain exposure.
  • Strong, practical understanding of plant maintenance execution and reliability programs.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance KPIs, including:
    • MTBF, MTTR
    • Planned vs. unplanned work
    • Maintenance backlog and schedule compliance
    • Wrench time and labor productivity
    • Asset availability and OEE (where applicable)
  • Experience working with or alongside EAM / CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM/EAM, IBM Maximo).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior operational and executive stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Background in value engineering, value consulting, or economic justification of operational initiatives.
  • Exposure to enterprise industrial SaaS sales cycles.
  • Comfort leading whiteboard‑based discussions on maintenance processes and value drivers.
What We Offer: US & Other Regions
  • A positive, open, and highly‑innovative environment and team.
  • Competitive Compensation Package
  • Full benefits (health, 401(k) with company match, etc.)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with unlimited opportunity to grow
