Tim Kurkjian Sports Journalism Fellowships
Hall of Fame baseball writer Tim Kurkjian of ESPN has long been associated with the Bethesda Big Train. Our Kurkjian Sports Journalism Fellowships cover several aspects of sports journalism, including broadcasting, sports writing and social media, graphic design, photography, videography, and marketing. See below for more details about each particular position within the Kurkjian Fellowship program.
These positions come with the understanding that we have a small staff. While your primary duties are listed here, all staff are expected to do whatever it takes to make the Big Train experience a pleasant one for our fans. So you may be writing a game recap, and then also setting up a bounce house for our young families.
