Nature of Work:
The Community Relations Internship provides an opportunity to learn about the planning, execution and implementation of Community Relations/Kroenke Sports Charities department. The position will assist with the coordination of department programs, community events and player appearances.
Examples of work performed:
  • Assists with:
    • Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets community programs
    • Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets license plate campaign
    • Community Pride Ticket program
    • Autograph item donation program
    • Game night programs and events
    • Department inventory management and organization
    • Kroenke Sports Charities Fundraising Events
    • Data entry, photo labeling and department metrics management
    • League initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
  • Preferred
    • Currently pursuing a college degree
    • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
