One Beat a Varsity Achievement Brand is looking to hire a Content and Tech Coordinator, responsibilities include managing the media captured by the Photographer and Videographer and creating content for social media.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Set up all video equipment prior to the event.
  • Lead orassistwith media setup and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise before or during the event.
  • Oversee the operation of the livestream and social wall.
  • Ensure all production elements align with and upholdOneBeatbrand standards.
  • Develop original social media content ideas using event photos and videos (e.g.,TikToks, Instagram Reels, etc.).
  • Shoot and edit an event recap video.
    Please note: Event recap videos must meetOneBeatquality standards. If a video does not meet these standards, the Content and Tech Coordinator willbe responsible forrevising the edit following the event. The revision deadline will bedeterminedand scheduled by the Social Media Coordinator.
  • Manage and organize mediasubmittedby Videographers.
  • Select and upload standout photos from Photographers for the Social Media Coordinator.
  • Step in to relieve the Photographer or Videographer of their duties when needed.
  • Possess a basic understanding of shot composition, framing, and color balance to capture visually compelling photos and videos.
  • Have working knowledge of video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Break down andproperly storeall video equipment at the conclusion of the event.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to work long event days (8-16 hours)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs (event equipment, merchandise bins, staging materials)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous event dance industry experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work weekends (Thursday-Monday) and travel from January-June.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable working in loud, dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to shifting event needs.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • Previous event dance industry experience preferred but not required
