i9 Sports® is the nation's first and largest youth sports league franchise, serving more than 1 million registrations across 500+ communities nationwide.
We offer youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for children ages 3-14 in flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball. Position Summary

The Venue Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional i9 Sports experience by leading all game-day operations at an assigned venue. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is energetic, organized, dependable, and passionate about working with children and families.
You'll oversee staff and volunteer coaches, ensure games run smoothly and on schedule, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a fun, safe, and positive environment for every participant. If you're someone who enjoys leading a team, solving problems, and creating great experiences, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare fields/courts for game-day activities, including setup and breakdown.
  • Lead and supervise part-time staff and volunteer coaches.
  • Manage all game-day operations to ensure programs run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Model and reinforce i9 Sports core values, including sportsmanship and positive coaching.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of all equipment and venue areas.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to players, parents, coaches, and staff.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Assist with on-field instruction, coaching support, and officiating when needed.
  • Complete required game-day reports, checklists, and operational documentation.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the confidence to take charge when needed.
  • Passion for working with children and creating a positive youth sports experience.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with families, volunteers, and staff.
  • Weekend availability throughout each season (approximately 6/7 weeks)
  • Knowledge of one or more sports offered by i9 Sports (flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, or baseball).
  • Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
  • Previous leadership, coaching, customer service, or youth program experience is preferred but not required.
