Our Crew Leaders perform work on the jobsites and lead other crew members in a safe and quality manner to ensure beautiful landscapes for our clients. Juniper's Sports Turf Crew Leaders supervise a team of crew members maintaining athletic fields and sports turf sites by ensuring job site tasks are completed safely, efficiently and with our quality standards in mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily site operations for sports turf/athletic field maintenance
  • Supervising athletic field renovation projects and agronomy aspects for healthy sports turf
  • Maintaining production schedules and ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Assisting with training and development of crew members
  • Daily timekeeping of work hours on jobsites for crew members and records of work performed
  • Customer service and professional interaction with clients
  • Ensuring all crew members perform their work in a safe manner
  • Ensuring equipment is in working order and properly maintained
  • Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform sports turf maintenance and renovation duties
  • Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
