ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operator will bring the Amara experience to life by ensuring that the golf course remains in pristine condition, providing an exceptional playing experience for all golfers. This role involves the upkeep and care of the turf, landscaping, and course facilities to maintain aesthetic appeal and functional quality. The successful candidate will work closely with the groundskeeping team to implement maintenance schedules, manage irrigation systems, and address any course-related issues promptly. Attention to detail and a proactive approach are critical to preserving the health of the grass, trees, and other natural elements on the course. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to the reputation and success of the golf facility by delivering a well-maintained and inviting environment for players and visitors alike.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or turf management, preferably in a golf course or sports turf environment.
  • Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of turfgrass care, irrigation systems, and pesticide application.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Certification in pesticide application or turf management.
  • Experience with irrigation system installation and repair.
  • Familiarity with golf course maintenance software or scheduling tools.
  • Strong understanding of environmental and safety regulations related to grounds maintenance.
  • Previous experience working on a golf course or similar recreational facility.
