Job description

Position:Adjunct Lecturer

Department: Biological Sciences

Classification: Part-time, Non-benefit eligible

Location: Mesa, AZ

Rate: 1400 per contact hour (with a terminal degree) and 1200 per contact hour (without a terminal degree). This compensation is per contact hour and is subject to change based on class size.

Brief overview of duties: The Department of Biological Sciences is looking to find engaging and enthusiastic instructors to help to fill out our adjunct pool and assist in delivering course in the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 terms. Our department offers classes in the Biological Sciences, as well as Sport and Exercise Science. Immediate needs in Mesa for fall are for courses in our Coaching minor, which includes courses in sport psychology, motor learning, principles of coaching, sport management, and local management of student field experiences. The right candidates will have at least a master's degree in sport science or a closely related discipline.
