Pay rate: $35 per game
Skills Required: Previous officiating experience or sports related experience as a coach or player. No experience no problem! We will get you certified.
Job Description:
We're seeking a dedicated and professional Sports Official who embodies integrity, fairness, and composure under pressure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the sport's rules, make quick and confident decisions, and communicate clearly with players, coaches, and fellow officials. Physical fitness, mental focus, and emotional resilience are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of an officiating team. A passion for the sport and a commitment to continuous improvement are highly valued.
As a Sports official you are responsible for:
Enforcing the rules and regulations of a game to ensure fair play and the safety of all participants. Their duties include starting and stopping play, making judgment calls on infractions, assessing penalties, and keeping track of the game's progress (such as time, score, and player conduct). Officials must communicate clearly with players, coaches, and other officials, manage conflicts or disputes that arise during the game, and maintain control of the event to ensure it runs smoothly and within established guidelines. Also expected to demonstrate impartiality, professionalism, and a thorough understanding of the sport at all times.
