DASH Sports is a local youth sports training company based out of the Twin Cities, MN. We are professional, agile, fast paced and our goal is to Provide communities with well organized, skilled based youth sports programs for kids. Looking for coaches to run our Duluth camps this upcoming school year!

Job Overview

We are seeking passionate and experienced Youth Sports Coaches to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in various sports such as Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Baseball, Volleyball, or other sports and possess a strong foundation in Physical Education. If you have a knack for educating and motivating young athletes to excel in sports, this role is perfect for you.

Schedule

Our camps Monday through Friday run roughly 2pm to 7pm, but not necessarily all of those days or times. Our weekend camps typically run from 9am to 2pm on Saturdays. 

Requirements

- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

- Must be able to attend staff training September 12th in the twin cities

- Must pass a background check

- Must have sports experience

- Must have prior coaching and/or childcare experience

- Must be able to work at least 3 days a week (ideally able to work Saturdays)

Duties

- Educate and train athletes in a variety of sports and physical activities.

- Implement our practice plans and curriculums to enhance students' skills and performance.

- Organize and lead sports coaching sessions in a gym or outdoor setting.

- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

- Create a fun, positive and supportive learning environment for students to thrive.

- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate sports events and competitions.

Skills

- Strong background in sports coaching with experience working with children.

- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their athletic goals.

- Experience working with athletes ages 3 to 12yrs.

- Proficient in implementing engaging training programs tailored to individual needs.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Knowledge of sports equipment and safety protocols.

- Ability to lift and transport sports equipment around gym and outdoor facilities as needed for coaching sessions.
