ProFlex Sports and Wellness is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Elko, Nevada. This role is designed for a flexible and passionate clinician willing to float between home care settings and deliver exceptional patient care across various locations. Your work will involve engaging with diverse patient populations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal recovery and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

This position is full-time, requiring adherence to a Monday through Friday schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will be working directly onsite in patients' homes within the Elko community, allowing you to provide care in a comfortable and familiar environment for your clients. You will encounter various clinical settings that will keep your daily work engaging and stimulating. As a floater, you will travel between patient sites, providing the flexibility to adapt your approach based on specific patient needs and care environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel between multiple home care locations to deliver physical therapy services, ensuring continuity of care and effective treatment.
  • Conduct thorough initial evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual patient goals and conditions.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice to implement interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies, injury prevention, and ergonomic practices to promote a healthier lifestyle and foster independence.
  • Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring that all patient records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic procedures, managing chronic pain, or seeking rehabilitation for injuries sustained in sports or everyday activities. Qualifications
  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada is required.
