As a Social Media Producer for CBS Sports Golazo, you will be embedded within our Golazo Network studio, working directly alongside show producers and talent to shape how our studio programming and live moments come to life on social. You'll sit at the intersection of production, editorial, and social, ensuring key moments, storylines, and performances are identified early, clipped quickly, and distributed effectively across Golazo's social platforms. This role requires strong editorial instincts, a deep understanding of football culture, and the ability to translate live television and studio discussion into compelling, platform-specific social content that resonates with fans globally.

Beyond publishing, you'll be expected to independently create high-quality vertical video edits, quick-turn graphics, and behind-the-scenes content, while also feeding social performance insights back into the production process to help inform future shows and segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the social point of contact for studio shows, working closely with producers and talent to identify, clip, and distribute real-time moments that resonate on social.
  • Create and publish platform-specific content from live shows, matches, and breaking news, including elevated vertical edits, behind-the-scenes content, and quick-turn graphics.
  • Track social performance, identify trends and standout moments, and share insights with studio producers to help inform future topics and segments.
  • Collaborate with the wider Golazo social team to ensure studio content aligns with overall brand voice and strategy.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience managing branded social media accounts, ideally within sports, media, or live production environments.
  • Strong editorial judgment and a clear understanding of what works across different social platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro, with the ability to independently execute high-quality edits and graphics.
  • Deep passion for global football, with working knowledge of competitions including the UEFA Men's and Women's Champions League, domestic and international men's and women's soccer in the U.S., Premier League, EFL, and more.
  • Experience publishing content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter/X.
  • Ability to work quickly and calmly under tight deadlines in a live studio setting.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working directly with producers, talent, and teammates.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to support live shows and marquee matches.
