Job Description
Sarah Lawrence College, a private, coeducational college located 30 minutes north of Midtown Manhattan, is seeking applicants for a full-time Sports Information Director. Sarah Lawrence is a member of the Skyline Conferences and is a member of NCAA DIII.
Essential Duties Summary
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Implementing a comprehensive communications plan promoting the intercollegiate athletics program and achievements of student-athletes and coaches
  • Responsible for managing all in-game operations for statistics, score keeping and public address for all home contests
  • Statistical reporting to the NCAA, Skyline Conference and other organization
  • Media relations
  • Publications
  • Web and social media
  • Supervision and training of student game day workers

Required Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
  • Previous experience in a collegiate sports information office.
  • Statistical software experience.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and manage projects with minimal supervision.
