Their goal is to present sports coverage that is both informative and captivating for readers or viewers.

How does a sports editor typically collaborate with reporters, photographers, and layout designers to produce compelling sports coverage?

A sports editor plays a central role in coordinating coverage by working closely with reporters to assign stories, guide angles, and ensure factual accuracy.
