Redline Athletics – North Phoenix

Reports To
The Sports Performance Specialist will report to the Director of Sports Performance (DSP).

Job Overview
Our Sports Performance Specialists (SPS) are responsible for delivering an exceptional training experience for our athletes, performance tracking, and assists the DSP with member retention.

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Coaching Athletes

  • Support DSP in setting up and breaking down classes
  • Aid in performance testing and data collection
  • Help DSP with demonstrating proper form and movement
  • Motivate and Encourage Athletes!
  • Connect with Athletes and make them feel welcome!
  • Lead or Assist with Camps, clinics, sport specific, team and other trainings
  • Aid in the development of additional offerings for members and non-members

Customer Interaction

  • Checking in athletes for their training sessions, addressing member inquires, and providing friendly support
  • Provide tours of facility for free trials

Facility Maintenance

  • Hourly restroom checks - light cleaning
  • Daily cleaning tasks such as wiping down tables, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, wiping down equipment, etc - to be shared amongst all team members
  • Weekly and/or Monthly cleaning tasks to include cleaning under and around equipment

Qualifications

  • 1-2 Years Experience in Sports Performance with Under 18 Population
  • Currently NSCA-CSCS Certified or on track to certification (or comparable approved industry certification)
  • A skilled communicator
  • Invested in developing and maintaining strong relationships within the community

  • A passion for sports, health, and human performance

Redline Athletics North Phoenix is a youth sports performance training center dedicated to helping young athletes build speed, strength, confidence, and character. We train athletes ages 6–18 through structured, high‐energy sessions led by coaches who care deeply about development — not just drills. Our environment is positive, fast‐paced, and team‐oriented, and we take pride in creating a place where athletes feel supported, challenged, and excited to grow.
