The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible and willing to take on on-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Custodian will be responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of the office spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn competitive pay and full-time benefits.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building as directedManage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lotComplete non-routine cleaning according to specified job ordersRemove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-upHandle emergency cleaning and upkeep requestsEnsure rooms are maintained and fully equippedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:2+ years janitorial experienceWillingness to work a variety of shiftsAbility to work well under minimal supervisionCapacity to take directionStrong attention to detailWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be available to work a flexible schedule; a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidaysMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendPushing/pulling/lifting 50 lbs. Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of timeAbility to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. ladders, lift for scoreboards, etc.)Facility has intermittent noise
