FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

Responsibilities
  • Generate Revenue by selling a suite of cutting-edge digital advertising solutions across our key brands, including FLX, FOX Local, TUBI, FOX Sports, and fox26houston.com, as well as unique multi-screen promotional sponsorships.
  • Drive Business Growth by developing and implementing sales strategies (independently and with sales management) to consistently grow revenue and exceed sales goals.
  • Cultivate Client Relationships by meeting and communicating regularly with clients and agencies to maintain strong partnerships and expedite the closing process.
  • Lead the Sales Process by presenting, negotiating, and developing unique and valuable advertising packages to new and existing clients.
  • Manage Accounts efficiently, including processing transactional business, developing advertising schedules with station personnel, and ensuring the timely completion of all administrative tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with station and corporate management, sales staff, and internal station personnel.
  • Participate in sales training and meetings to stay current on product offerings, market trends, and other key information.

Requirements
  • Experience & Education: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Video Advertising Business Development and Sales. A college degree is preferred.
  • Business Acumen: Digital ad sales savvy with a proven track record of developing new business and achieving measurable success in the digital space.
  • Client & Sales Skills: A skilled negotiator and motivator capable of managing complex deals and driving accounts from lead to close.
  • Communication & Technology: Possesses excellent organizational, time management, written & verbal communication skills. Must be proficient with computers and cloud-based communication applications. Experience with WideOrbit is a plus.
  • Forecasting: Ability to accurately forecast revenue based on pipelines and pending deals.
  • Transportation: Ability to obtain reliable transportation and have a valid, local driver's license.
  • Travel: Local travel required.

The on-target earnings for this position include a base salary of $75,000 - $85,000, along with potential for additional sales bonuses and commissions up to and beyond $170,000 annually.
