At i9 Sports - Marysville/Lake Stevens, we provide youth sports programs for kids ages 3-12 in flag football, soccer, baseball, and basketball, with volleyball and additional sports continuing to grow. Our focus is on fun, safety, sportsmanship, and skill development-not just winning. We believe youth sports should create lifelong memories and a love of the game.
Job Summary
We're looking for a Multi-Sport Instructor who is comfortable teaching and coaching multiple sports, with an emphasis on flag football, soccer, and baseball. This position is ideal for someone with a strong athletic background who enjoys working with children and can confidently step in wherever needed.
Rather than coaching just one team, you'll serve as a versatile instructor who can fill in for volunteer coaches, assist our staff, and help ensure every child has a positive experience. Basketball and volleyball opportunities may become available in future seasons.

Fall Season
  • Location: Lake Stevens
  • Game Days: Sundays
  • Season Dates: September 13 - October 25
  • Potential Rainout Make-Up Dates: November 1 and November 8

Responsibilities
  • Lead practices and games for athletes ages 3-12.
  • Fill in for volunteer coaches when needed across multiple sports.
  • Teach fundamental skills while keeping practices engaging and fun.
  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and confidence.
  • Adapt quickly to different age groups and sports throughout the day.
  • Create a positive, encouraging environment for players and families.
  • Assist with field setup, transitions, and game-day operations as needed.
  • Represent i9 Sports with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Qualifications
  • Experience playing and/or coaching multiple sports is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable teaching flag football, soccer, and baseball (basketball and volleyball experience is a bonus).
  • Enjoys working with children ages 3-12.
  • Positive, energetic, and dependable.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a team.
  • Available on Sundays for the entire season.
  • Reliable transportation.
