Job description

The Program Manager, Sponsorships, independently manages assigned sponsorships from proposal development through post-sale handoff, launch, ongoing delivery, reporting, and completion. This role sits at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing areas of digital marketing, AI, and LLM visibility, helping Money Group develop the operational frameworks, reporting methodologies, and best practices that support brands across AI-powered search. Working closely with internal teams, partners, agencies, and advertisers, the Program Manager helps shape bespoke, accurately scoped sponsorships and identifies opportunities to strengthen client relationships, drive renewals, and support long-term revenue growth.

Success requires strategic thinking, strong ownership, analytical problem-solving, sound judgment, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders while independently moving moderately complex initiatives forward in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop sponsorship proposals in partnership with Sales, ABM, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring programs are feasible, aligned with client objectives, and accurately scoped with minimal oversight from the sponsorship operations team lead.
  • Independently manage assigned sponsorship programs from post-sale handoff through launch, ongoing execution, reporting, and completion.
  • Translate approved proposals and insertion orders into clear project plans, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder responsibilities.
  • Facilitate kickoff meetings, working sessions, publisher calls, and client status meetings, and document key decisions, action items, and next steps.
  • Coordinate and track deliverables, timelines, approvals, dependencies, risks, and execution progress across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned advertisers, agencies, publisher partners, and internal teams, building trusted relationships through clear communication and reliable follow-through.
  • Provide regular project updates, proactively resolve execution challenges, and escalating material risks, scope changes, or decisions when appropriate.
  • Partner with the Sponsorship Project and Reporting Associate to validate campaign reporting and translate traditional KPIs, AI, and LLM visibility metrics, and partner feedback into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Identify potential upsell, expansion, and renewal opportunities and share recommendations with Sales and Sponsorship leadership.
  • Improve sponsorship operations by strengthening workflows, documentation, quality assurance, reporting visibility, automation, and repeatable processes.
  • Identify sponsorship-related technical, tracking, reporting dashboard, and product needs and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to coordinate solutions.
  • Contribute ideas for sponsorship products, publisher opportunities, and execution models that support client value, revenue growth, and profitability.
  • Among other responsibilities related to the position.
Requirements:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, account management, digital media, branded content, advertising, publishing, sponsorships, or a related field.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and external partner relationships.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze performance, and communicate clear recommendations.
Good to have:
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or another relevant project or program management certification.
  • Experience managing integrated content sponsorships or digital advertising campaigns.
  • Familiarity with insertion orders, contractual deliverables, campaign reporting, publisher agreements, SEO, or AI and LLM visibility measurement.
