Requirements:

  • Must have both Splunk System Administration skills and dashboard implementation skills.
  • The Splunk Engineer is expected to use Splunk software to search, monitor and analyze machine-generated data.
  • Scripting Experience (Python, etc.)
  • Pulling data from tools via RestAPI
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Candidate will be considered for a DevOps/Splunk multi-role if they have the right combination of skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Splunk clusters
  • Upgrades when required
  • API data calls
  • IAVA support
  • CentOS7 to RHEL8 upgrade
  • Moving to AWS
  • Pulling logs for servers
  • Creating dashboards and briefing material using Splunk data for COR-T
