Job Title: Azure Integration / Middleware Architect
Location: Houston, TX
Client: Healthcare
 

Job Summary

Interon IT is looking for an experienced Azure Integration / Middleware Architect to support enterprise integration initiatives and drive middleware architecture strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps, integration pipelines, API tools, and enterprise application connectivity, along with the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.

This role requires a strong architectural mindset, solid technical depth, and the ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders across the full software development lifecycle.

Required Experience

  • 10–12 years of overall IT experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Strong experience designing and managing middleware integrations using Azure Logic Apps and integration pipelines
  • Hands-on technical experience with:
    • T-SQL
    • Windows Server
    • SwaggerHub
    • Apigee
    • Splunk
    • Postman
    • Azure DevOps
  • Experience working across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design, development, deployment, and application enhancements
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure platforms including operating systems, databases, application servers, and cloud technologies
  • Ability to translate business objectives into strategic technology and architectural solutions
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with GuardianRX, Cperx, Queen City, CMS WordLink, Omnisys, and Genesis is a plus
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus
