Splunk Observability Cloud Architect

Job Location: Charlotte, NC//NEW JERSEY (Day 1 Onsite -Hybrid.)

Job Type: Full Time Salary Range: $100000 to $150000/Annum + Full Time Benefits

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
  • 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Splunk Observability Cloud Architect.
Roles & Responsibilities
  1. 10+ year of IT with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Splunk Observability Cloud.
  2. Act as Technical/Solution Expert for Splunk Observability Cloud.
  3. Create and maintain custom Splunk searches, alerts and saved reports to facilitate proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
  4. Define best practices for Splunk deployment, configuration, and administration to help Application Support Team to reduce major incidents, improve MMTR and enhance application monitoring.
  5. Monitor system performance and ensure optimal resource utilization.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional team to gather requirement and give them Splunk ObservabilityCloud solutions.
  7. Fair understanding of cloud services, database and operating systems.
  8. Experience in integrating tools like ServiceNow, Jenkins, AWS etc. with Splunk Observability Cloud.
  9. Provide architectural consulting and mentoring to internal teams.
  10. Coordinate with IT team for seamless integration of Splunk with existing infrastructure/applications.
  11. Implement advanced search and reporting capabilities using SPL (Search Processing Language).
  12. Experience in Infra instrumentation into Splunk Observability Cloud.
  13. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed, high-volume systems.
  14. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  15. Preferred to have certification in Splunk (e.g. Splunk Certified Architect, Splunk Cloud Certified Admin, Splunk Core Certified Power User)
