Job description

Role: Performance/SRE Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite from Day 1)

Long Term

Skillset:

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience in Performance Engineering and Site Reliability Management (SRE).
  • Experience with monitoring production environment for Performance, Availability and holistic view of system health.
  • Experience with software configuration management and release engineering.
  • Hands on experience with performance and monitoring tools like LoadRunner, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Catchpoint etc.
  • Experience in Performance Engineering, System Admin with system configuration, optimizing connection pool and performance of environment.
  • Proactive approach to troubleshooting, identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to program (structured and OOP) using one or more languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with working on applications based On Premises and Cloud (Azure).

Responsibilities:

  • Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, instrumentation and other non-functional systems requirements.
  • Gather and analyze performance metrics from production systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
  • Partner with development teams to troubleshoot issues and defect fixes.
  • Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
  • Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives.
