As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be a vital key to the FITWORKS member experience by leading group exercise sessions. We are looking for positive team players to join our AWESOME team!
Responsibilities:
  • Leading members through a pre-arranged format of exercises designed to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance in a group atmosphere
  • Ensuring the safety of members is not compromised
  • Promotion of all FITWORKS promotions and events
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized facility (training floor, common areas & bathrooms).
  • Being present in your classes and managing distractions

Requirements:
  • Group Fitness National Certification such as, ACE, AFAA, Spinning, YogaFit, Zumba, Beach Body, Mossa (formerly BTS), etc.
  • Demonstrate the ability to move rhythmically to the beat of the music, including the ability to incorporate optimal usage of cueing, tempo, choreography, and safe transitional movement from one pattern to another
  • Knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles
  • Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics
  • Performance of a variety of exercise routines
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio/visual equipment
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position including the ability to lift weights, bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning, and kicking.
  • Up to date on current fitness and exercise trends
  • Able to provide music that enhances the choreography of routines
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Ability to communicate positively with potential members, current members, club guests, and all FITWORKS team members
  • Willingness to be trained on all FITWORKS systems and processes
  • Familiarity with CMS/CRM software a plus
  • Desire to achieve set goals and metrics in a fast-paced environment
