Ready to keep high-speed lines humming?

If you like moving with purpose, solving small mechanical problems, and seeing flawless product stack up neatly at the end of the line, this role is for you. Join a global manufacturer in a clean, temperature-controlled facility and build skills that translate across multiple automated processes.

What you’ll own
  • Run and oversee high-speed automated converting and winding machinery
  • Load rolls/spools, confirm material setup, and monitor throughput
  • Perform visual and dimensional checks; use calipers and tape measures for accuracy
  • Stack, package, and organize finished products for shipment
  • Troubleshoot minor issues and make basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and uptime
  • Execute basic preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, clearing jams, minor roller/bearing work
  • Document production and quality results with precision
  • Adhere to plant safety, quality, and operating procedures
  • Cross-train on additional equipment and processes
Must-haves
  • 6+ months in manufacturing, production, or machine operation (preferred)
  • Experience on high-speed or high-volume equipment (strong plus)
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with troubleshooting basics
  • Hands-on with hand tools and measuring devices
  • Ability to stand for the shift and handle repetitive physical tasks (walking, lifting, twisting, bending, stacking)
  • Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
  • Dependable attendance and consistent work habits
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing Principles
Nice-to-have experience
  • Paper/packaging/corrugated
  • Roll forming or metal processing
  • Automotive, plastics, food and beverage
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical
  • Any high-speed converting or automated environment
The basics
  • Pay: $17.00/hour starting with scheduled increases up to about $19.00/hour
  • Schedule: Day and Night Shift Opportunities
  • Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (potential conversion ~24 weeks)
  • Environment: Clean, organized, temperature-controlled facility
  • Workload: Stable production; limited overtime
  • Growth: Opportunities to learn multiple machines and processes; cross-training encouraged
  • Benefits: Competitive package available upon conversion
  • Company: Well-established global manufacturing organization
Why it’s a smart move

Consistent hours, predictable growth in pay, and skill-building that sets you up for advancement. You’ll work with a supportive team, gain exposure to multiple lines, and contribute to high-quality products every shift.
