Job description

SLPA - Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

This is a full-time 190 day per year position with a salary range of $26.41 - $31.21. For a full job description, please click the link in the bottom right corner of this posting. IMESD is a PERS employer offering full benefits for employee and family. We also offer tuition reimbursement for professional growth and development.

PRIMARY ROLE: Under supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, this position will provide speech and language screenings for school aged children and assist with a prescribed treatment plan.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in each responsibility and essential function of the position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Individual will hold a valid driver's license and have reliable, insured transportation. If selected for the position, individual will complete a pre-employment background check.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/EXPERIENCE: AA Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program, or BA in Communications Disorders Currently hold or be eligible within six months of employment Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification from the Oregon Board of Examiners of Speech Pathology and Audiology.
