During the Clinical Fellowship (CF) year, Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellows often encounter challenges such as adapting to a diverse caseload, managing documentation requirements, and developing clinical decision-making skills. Many CFs also navigate the transition from student to independent practitioner while seeking guidance from their clinical supervisor. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams help set exceptional CFs apart. These skills and qualifications are crucial to ensure effective client care, accurate documentation, and successful transition to independent practice.
