Description:

Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Atlanta, GA! The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and material flow. This role supports the Warehouse Manager by directing warehouse personnel, assigning daily work, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring activities are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipping, to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate daily workflow and labor assignments to support operational priorities, production schedules, and efficient material flow.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, FIFO practices, proper inventory transactions, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory movement, investigate discrepancies or material issues, and ensure materials are appropriately labeled, stored, and handled.
  • Direct, train, and support warehouse employees by communicating daily assignments, operational priorities, and performance expectations and providing instruction on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
  • Monitor employee attendance, productivity, performance, and adherence to established procedures while promoting accountability and teamwork.
  • Enforce company safety policies, OSHA requirements, housekeeping standards, and the safe operation of forklifts and material-handling equipment.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and assist with corrective actions and incident investigations.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Management, Production, Customer Service, and Shipping teams; communicate inventory concerns, shipping issues, staffing needs, and other operational updates to management.
  • Monitor performance indicators related to safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy and support continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Previous team-lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory-control practices.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements, warehouse safety practices, and quality standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to direct and motivate employees in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform work in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting, with regular exposure to forklifts, moving equipment, warehouse traffic, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to work overtime or a flexible schedule based on operational needs.
