Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour; Based on experience
Location: Menands, NY (On-site; bus line accessible)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type: Temporary to Hire
Experience: Must have previous experience operating CNC machinery
Our client in the Menands, NY area is seeking skilled CNC Operators to join their team. This is a great opportunity for experienced machining professionals looking for a stable schedule, competitive pay, and the potential for long-term employment. The work location is bus line accessible.

Responsibilities of the CNC Operator will include:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
  • Program or generate toolpaths as needed for machining operations
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Move materials and workpieces on and off worktables safely and efficiently
  • Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications for the role of CNC Operator:
  • Previous experience operating CNC machinery required
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tolerances
  • Ability to program or adjust toolpaths preferred
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning new software systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic
