Job description

Renegade Infrastructure Group is seeking motivated Telecommunications Cable Technician to join our growing team. This position involves working throughout Lafayette and the surrounding areas on a variety of telecommunications projects, including cable transfers, fiber and coax maintenance, new construction, routing, cut-ins, troubleshooting, and other field operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform aerial and underground cable transfers

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic and coaxial networks

  • Assist with new construction projects

  • Complete cut-ins and network routing tasks

  • Perform general telecommunications field work

  • Work safely and efficiently in outdoor environments

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Telecommunications, utility, or construction experience preferred, but not required
