Job description

Job Title: Unloader I
Location: Lithia Springs, GA, USA 30122
Duration: 5+ months
Schedule: Monday- Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Overtime: During the first two weeks of each month, associates may be asked to work up to 10-hour shifts and approximately 6 hours on Saturdays, with prior approval. Overtime and weekend work are based on warehouse production demands and business needs.
Position Overview:

We are seeking dependable, hardworking Warehouse Loader (lumper)to support daily warehouse operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires consistent lifting, unloading trailers, palletizing products, and assisting with general warehouse housekeeping. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and performing a variety of labor-intensive tasks throughout their shift.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Unload trailers and assist truck drivers with freight movement.
  • Manually lift, carry, and move cases and products throughout the warehouse.
  • Shrink-wrap pallets and prepare shipments for storage or transport.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness by sweeping, removing debris, and supporting housekeeping efforts.
  • Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Note: This position is not limited to unloading trucks. Associates will be expected to support various warehouse functions based on operational needs.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to consistently lift, carry, push, and pull products throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move continuously for extended periods.
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding work in varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to work inside trailers where temperatures can fluctuate with outdoor weather conditions and may become very hot.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
The following PPE is required at all times while working on the warehouse floor:
  • Safety gloves
  • Safety vest
  • Steel-toe boots that cover the ankle (DAY 1)

Important: All associates working consistently on the warehouse floor must wear over-the-ankle steel-toe boots.

Equipment:
  • This is a non-equipment position.
  • Associates will not operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial equipment

Candidate Qualifications:
Candidates must:
  • Be reliable and able to perform physically demanding work throughout the entire shift.
  • Have no physical limitations that would prevent consistent lifting and warehouse labor.
  • Understand the working conditions, including exposure to varying temperatures inside trailers.
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and assisting where needed.
