Surgical Services And Processing Technician

At Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus, we are committed to providing exceptional surgical care through a dedicated team and rigorous sterilization protocols. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Surgical Services And Processing Technician to join our Surgery Department. This role combines technical expertise in sterile processing with customer service responsibilities to ensure surgical instruments are sterilized, ready, and properly managed, while supporting patient and staff communication.

The Surgical Services And Processing Technician supports the Surgery Department by performing critical sterilization and instrument processing duties, while also serving as a liaison between the sterile processing team and surgical staff. The role demands technical knowledge of sterilization processes, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication to maintain high standards of surgical instrument readiness.

Qualifications:

  • CSR/SPD Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Previous experience preferred
