About Us

Senior PsychCare provides collaborative behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. Our multidisciplinary teams include Board-Certified Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants, Licensed Psychologists, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers/Licensed Professional Counselors/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. What Youll Do

  • Conduct cognitive and emotional assessments
    to set/manage treatment plans
  • Manage psychotropic medication and gradual dose reductions
  • Collaborate with nursing home staff and SPCs behavioral health team
  • Participate in treatment team meetings (in-person and virtual)
  • Deliver care both in-person and via telehealth when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our EHR system

Qualifications

  • Licensed NP or PA in the state of Texas
  • Psychiatric/mental health experience required
  • Experience with geriatric populations strongly preferred
  • Spanish bilingual is a plus
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be comfortable traveling locally
