Become a Key Player as a Braider Operator

You will operate and maintain braiding equipment to produce high-quality braided hose and components. Your work directly supports production and maintenance teams, ensuring product quality and uptime on the 2nd shift (onsite, evenings).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Set up and operate NEB, OMA, and TMW 24/36 braiders according to manufacturing specifications
  • Pull tooling and materials and inspect tooling prior to use; track material usage in WW3 system and Braider Logs
  • Measure and record OD and pitch on Hose Process Chart (SPC) and mark defects/new preforms with correct tape color
  • Run braided hose through wash tank and stage for inspection; report production issues to the lead
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow 5S and safety practices
  • Perform related production tasks and assist with troubleshooting and minor maintenance
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read work orders and interpret manufacturing specifications
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
  • Ability to use and interpret measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, pi tape)
  • Strong attention to detail, continuous alertness, and ability to monitor machine sounds for issues
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and performing lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching as required
  • Must pass pre-employment screening
