Job description

Job Summary
Bilingual Community Liaison - Under supervision, works closely with teachers, administrator, parents, and parent Advisory Committees to deliver direct services to parents and implement parent involvement activities.

Comments and Other Information
Successful candidate will be able to perform Spanish to English and English to Spanish oral interpretation fluently and Spanish to English and English to Spanish written translation with accuracy.
A district language assessement is required.
Other requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Previous experience working with parent advisory groups and/or as an instructional assistant
- Experience working with Limited English Proficient (LEP) children and/or families
- BA, AA degree, 48 college units or Para-Professional Exam Certificate is required
