The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Clarion, IA!


What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.


Role Details:

  • Clinic Hours: Mon-Fri: 7am-5pm
  • Your schedule: Mon-Fri: 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm; no evenings, no weekends, no call
  • Sees on average 16 patients per day + hygiene checks
  • Provider team includes: 1 dentist, 1 dental hygienist, and 2 dental assistants.
  • Operatories: 4 dental, 2 hygiene
  • EHR: Epic Wisdom

Duties: limited/emergency and comprehensive exams, restorative on both children and adults, root canals, removable and fixed prosthodontics - possibly using digital dentistry, extractions including surgical.

Requirements:

DDS/DMD degree from an approved dental school


Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish, although not required. There is a high Spanish speaking population.
