Job description

SUMMARY
The School of Liberal Arts & Sciences is seeking adjunct instructors to teach Spanish, German, and/or French. Responsibilities include teaching language courses at the beginning, intermediate, and/or advanced undergraduate level.
The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty foster intellectual curiosity, open inquiry, critical thinking, the pursuit of knowledge, responsible civic engagement, and a deep understanding of the relationship of the Christian faith and reason. Palm Beach Atlantic University is a comprehensive Christian university whose mission is to equip students to grow in wisdom, lead with conviction, and serve God boldly, emphasizing moral, spiritual, and intellectual development.
STATUS:

EDUCATION:
Master's degree or higher in the target language (PhD preferred) with native or near-native fluency in the target language.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated expertise in the discipline.
  • Prior collegiate-level teaching experience, preferred.
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to integrate faith into coursework.
