Job description

Spanish Schoolhouse, the largest Spanish Immersion preschool in the country, is growing and we are seeking a Part-Time Spanish Kindergarten Teacher for our Sugarland campus. Come join our mission to create a bigger & brighter future for children!
Responsibilities of a Part-Time SPANISH KINDERGARTEN TEACHER include:

· Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for students.

· Preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning.

· Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.

· Teaching according to the Spanish Schoolhouse curriculum and preparing students for academic success.

· Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.

· Documenting children’s daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of progress.

· Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.


Requirements of a KINDERGARTEN SPANISH TEACHER include:

· Bachelor's degree required

· Teaching certification

· Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and child development

· Previous teaching experience

· Speak, read, and write Spanish fluently


Preferred Skills and Abilities of a KINDERGARTEN SPANISH TEACHER include:

· K-5 teaching experience
