Job description

Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Producer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-term, ongoing

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Producer to join our remote team. This role is critical to the creation, deployment, and optimization of high-volume digital communications through Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Email Studio, AMPScript, and responsive email coding, with a strong grasp of email best practices and compliance with commercial spam laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and deploy high-quality email and SMS campaigns using SFMC.
  • Hand-code HTML emails from text-based content with responsive, accessible, and personalized layouts.
  • Leverage AMPScript to create dynamic content and personalize communications.
  • Manage project workflow through the entire campaign lifecycle: requirements gathering, coding, QA, and deployment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, copy, design, data, and legal teams to ensure messaging accuracy and brand compliance.
  • Upload and segment contact lists securely; manage data extensions and filters.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and recommend A/B tests and optimization strategies.
  • Ensure all email communications adhere to brand standards and comply with data privacy regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM).

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience coding and deploying HTML emails, including responsive email design.
  • Recent experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Email Studio and AMPScript.
  • Solid knowledge of email marketing best practices, accessibility, and commercial spam compliance laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Experience conducting A/B testing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SFMC modules: Data Extensions, Automations, Journey Builder, CloudPages, Filters & Triggers.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
  • Familiarity with SQL and JavaScript within SFMC.
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools and marketing performance reporting.
