SAIC is seeking a Space Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing artifacts and documents.
  • Developing CONOPS and architecture products in support of acquisition-level requirements and interfaces specifications for GEOINT/SIGINT/Multi-INT systems.
  • Developing enterprise and functional-level requirements.
  • Reviewing, assessing, and determining impacts to enterprise, functional, and system level design requirements, interfaces, architectures, CONOPS and verification plans for adequacy of implementation of customer requirements, interface definitions, concepts and reference architecture.
  • Supporting and maintaining architectures, CONOPS and requirements through enterprise configuration management boards and approved RFC processes.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science, or related discipline, or Associates Degree and 0 years of experience is required.  
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work complex issues, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated capability and success applying collaborative problem solving & execution skills to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare and present various types of reports to all levels of Management.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
