Job description

BOOST LLC is a dynamic management consulting firm that offers an array of government-compliant back-office solutions to support our teaming partners within the GovCon space. We are working with our client, Don Selvy Enterprises (DSE), to find their next highly skilled Journeyman Program Analyst.

About DSE

Since 1997, DSE has been a team of experienced professionals dedicated to engineering, training, and program management that enables front-line soldiers, sailors, and Marines to fully exploit the tactical capabilities of aviation and maritime platforms. Our Subject Matter Experts bring deep, experience-based knowledge to every acquisition pathway they support, from weapons systems acquisition to maintenance, modernization, and sustainment programs. If you're looking for a team with institutional knowledge, mission relevance, and long-term program stability, DSE has been delivering exactly that for over 25 years.

The Role

The Journeyman Program Analyst supporting PMA 280 Advanced Concepts & Technologies applies analytic techniques to evaluate program and project objectives, analyzing requirements, status, budget, and schedules, and performing management, technical, or business case analyses. You'll collect, organize, and interpret data relating to aircraft, weapon, and project acquisition and product programs, track program status and schedules, and apply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control, and data management.

Why DSE

DSE doesn't just ask for your experience, it rewards it. DSE's PTO program is experience-based rather than tenure-based, meaning the relevant industry experience you bring with you can qualify you for a higher PTO allocation from day one, rather than starting over at the bottom like you would at most employers. It's a rare structure in this industry, where most companies only reward the tenure you earn after you join, not the years of expertise you bring with you.

That same philosophy carries through the rest of the benefits package:

  • Starting salary range: $80,000 $125,000 annually
  • 100% company-paid medical and dental premiums for employees (50% for dependents)
  • 401(k) with up to a 4% company match
  • Fully paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance no cost to you
  • Employer-funded FSA plus HRA contributions toward your deductible
  • Experience-based PTO your prior relevant experience can qualify you for a higher PTO allocation from day one, plus the option to purchase additional PTO
  • 11 paid holidays (6 national, 5 floating)
  • Tuition reimbursement to support continued professional growth

Responsibilities

  • Manage Program Office internal and external communications, including coordination with other IPTs and Ops/PMA EA
  • Lead stakeholder interaction and coordination, including security logistics, visit requests, and travel arrangements
  • Own meeting agendas, RFIs, RFAs, minutes, and action item tracking/resolution
  • Respond to internal PEO data calls and external data calls (Congressional, Senate, etc.) and Questions for the Record (QFR)
  • Maintain database organization, file management, and data disposition
  • Maintain IPT calendar and schedules
  • Coordinate logistics, reservations, speakers, notes, and inputs for weekly and standup meetings
  • Document meeting minutes and action items
  • Coordinate presentations with Level I IPTs, Functional Leads Scheduler, RIO Manager, and working groups
  • Coordinate and host meetings as required, serving as liaison with all stakeholders and key representatives
  • Maintain and periodically update the IPT organization chart

Required Education

  • BS or BA in business, management, or an engineering management discipline
  • Allowable substitution: AS/AA degree plus 4 additional years of experience, or 6 additional years of experience in lieu of a BS/BA

Required Experience

  • 3 to 10 years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis
  • At least 2 years of NAVAIR experience related to operations support (included within the required experience)
  • Must work onsite 100% of the time at NAVAIR, Lexington Park, Maryland
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance

DSE is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
