Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced Account Executive to support our United States Space Force (USSF) customers. Do you want to be at the forefront of delivering transformative cloud capabilities that directly impact national security missions?
In this role, you will drive the expedited delivery of war-fighting capabilities to USSF Guardians while growing our business and uncovering new opportunities across the USSF territory. You will work at the intersection of state-of-the-art cloud technology and mission-critical defense operations, helping shape the future of space operations through AWS innovation. This position requires deep expertise in both AWS solutions and the unique requirements of the US Space Force, along with proven sales performance. Your ability to translate complex mission requirements into scalable cloud solutions will be essential to success in this high-impact role.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration within your USSF account portfolio by identifying mission needs and delivering tailored AWS solutions
- Develop, maintain, and expand your sales pipeline through strategic engagement with Mission Owners, Portfolio Acquisition Executives, and Material Leaders
- Collaborate with USSF Guardians and Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives throughout the entire cloud adoption lifecycle to ensure mission success
- Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Solutions Managers, and industry partners to architect and deliver game-changing capabilities for space operations
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the USSF organization to accelerate cloud adoption and customer satisfaction
A day in the life
You will spend significant time engaging directly with USSF Mission Owners, Portfolio Acquisition Executives, Material Leaders, and Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives, guiding them through their cloud journey from initial discovery to full deployment. Your day involves strategic account planning, pipeline development, and collaborative problem-solving sessions with industry partners. You will translate complex space mission requirements into AWS solutions, working closely with technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of capabilities that enhance USSF operational readiness.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of direct sales in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to DoW (preferred USSF) or IC customers.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
