We are dedicated to providing our guests with exceptional services while promoting eco-conscious practices in every aspect of our operations.

Job Overview: As a Licensed Massage Therapist at Cascada Spa and Hotel, you will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services and body treatments, ensuring an outstanding wellness experience for our guests. You will be an integral part of our wellness team, helping to create a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere while upholding our commitment to excellence and sustainability. This is a dynamic and fulfilling role for someone passionate about wellness and customer care.

Job Description: In this role, you will provide personalized massage therapy services to guests, helping them to relax, heal, and rejuvenate. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the treatment areas, ensuring a comfortable and professional environment for each guest. Additionally, you will work alongside other wellness professionals to deliver a seamless and memorable spa experience.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other specialized treatments to address guest needs.
  • Assess guest preferences and health conditions to provide tailored therapeutic services.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and organization of treatment rooms, including sanitizing equipment and supplies after each guest.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, ensuring each guest feels comfortable, relaxed, and well-cared for during their experience.
  • Offer expert advice on wellness practices and assist guests in understanding the benefits of massage therapy and other spa treatments.
  • Collaborate with spa receptionists and other staff to manage guest schedules and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of guest treatments, preferences, and health conditions in compliance with privacy policies.
  • Uphold spa policies and procedures, particularly those related to health, safety, and sustainability practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on industry trends and new techniques.

Requirements:

  • Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist (Oregon state certification).
  • Proven experience in a therapeutic massage role, ideally in a spa or wellness setting minimum of 5+ years.
  • Knowledge of various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and other modalities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with guests.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on cleanliness and maintaining a serene environment.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
