Job description

Job Summary:
Service Technician work is related to pool(s) or spa(s), includes cleaning, brushing, scrubbing, skimming, pumping, backwashing, chemical testing and evaluation, addition of chemicals, timer or setting changes, filter replacement etc. All work shall be performed in compliance with company or state and local requirements, codes, or standards. Must have a minimum of 1 year experience.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Check Chemicals and Dose as Required
  • Perform cleaning and light maintenance operations.
  • Generate work orders.
  • Assist as directed during performance of property inspections.
  • Record and maintain regulatory records accurately and responsibly.
  • Coordinate daily work schedule.
  • Be responsible for proper utilization and care of tools and equipment.
  • Respond to emergent conditions.
  • Maintain positive Client communication and Interface.
  • Notify superiors of any adverse conditions or events
  • Maintain company vehicle with regards to cleanliness and operability
  • Coordinate as directed with Office Manager for administrative matters.
  • Order replacement materials consistent with authorized scope
  • Monitor – perform required follow up after pool or spa adjustment operations to assure proper pool operation, functionality, and water clarity.
  • Complete internal company documents as may be directed, e.g. timesheets.
  • Forward documents or records to the office as may be required.
  • When directed by Supervision, interface with Southern Nevada Health District at specific property locations.
  • Post permits as may be required.

Education and Experience:


  • Formal Education: High School diploma is required.
  • Professional Designation Required: Be CPO Certified. Knowledge of technical theories as it relates to pool
equipment and regulatory legislation is required.
  • Experience: 1 year experience required
